How I approach the world.
Agency, curiosity, adaptability, initiative and the willingness to try.
You spend years learning what you know. This is about discovering what you can actually do with it — and who you become when the answer is not in the textbook.
Mindset × Skillset × State of Mind
A real-world development experience for 16–19-year-olds making consequential choices about work, university, money, independence and what they can contribute.
Agency, curiosity, adaptability, initiative and the willingness to try.
Communication, critical thinking, creativity, AI fluency, problem solving and commercial sense.
Confidence, resilience, self-awareness, focus, emotional regulation and perseverance.
Application is not a fourth pillar. It is how the three dimensions get developed. The phone can be the interface. The world is the classroom.
Short, sharp input when it is useful — not hours of content for its own sake.
Use the idea with real people, real ambiguity and enough consequence to make it matter.
Leave with evidence: something built, earned, pitched, solved, secured or changed.
The exact programme is still being designed. These are the kinds of experiences shaping it.
Find a problem. Create something useful. Find someone willing to pay for it. The customer has to be real.
Turn an idea into something another person can see, use or test.
Contact someone you do not know and create a genuine conversation or opportunity.
Research, prepare, show what you can do and handle questions you did not script.
Use AI to improve your work — then show that you can still think, decide and defend it yourself.
Do not wait for a perfect opening. Find a route into work, a project, a customer, a mentor or something of your own.
The ambition is to measure more than satisfaction and completion. Evidence could include work experience secured, income earned, projects launched, external feedback, stronger independence and opportunities created.
Capability³: mindset × skillset × state of mind. Built through experience. Proven through action.
